The Garage with Steve Butler

Synopsis:
"Hello. My name is Steve Butler. I am a professional furniture maker and an educator. I teach furniture making workshops at various craft schools across the country. I reside in Uxbridge, MA and maintain a studio practice in Mendon, MA. Myself and Jeff Ellis, who is employed by Hopedale community access television, have developed a show called “ The Garage” The show is filmed at my studio which is an old Exxon gas station. The premise of the show is to teach an audience how to build traditional furniture; re-use/re-purposed and sculptural furniture using what is at hand. The show is about making without having to have all of the best equipment, I don’t ‘- so folks will be able too see first hand that you don’t need all of the bells and whistle to make quality pieces. The idea is to have fun, be creative and make great furniture and objects without having to break the bank. The show will appeal to all audiences. To those who have a basement shop or a shop in their garage, especially in these tough economic times." - Steve Butler

On a monthly basis TechQuest TV will showcase technology leaders and the exciting developments and opportunities in the technology and industry," said TechQuest Pennsylvania President Kelly Lewis, a former state representative from Monroe County.
