February

Social Media: The Ins and Outs, a presentation by PTHS students to help parents understand the different types of social media that their children are using, was recorded on Feb. 4

March

The station purchased its first digital audio workstation, along with Pro Tools, mixing and recording system, in order to give volunteers the ability to properly record voice-overs and other audio recordings

April

Sony Vegas Pro editor is purchased 

May

A 3rd Studio Camera pedestal is purchased, as well as new 19" LCD Teleprompters for all 3 studio cameras

Peters Township Community Television partnered with KDKA-TV to give studio access in the creation of a Driving Skills for Life TV PSA utilizing Peters Township High School students.

June

PTCT Staff oversaw the purchase and installation of a new A/V and wireless audio cabinet for use at the Peters Township Public Library

The station purchased 3 new teleprompters for its studio cameras.

July

The station ordered a brand new video router and controller to allow for video signals to be routed throughout the station for use during productions.

September

PTCT created a video highlighting the Township's involvement in Character Counts as the Committee celebrated its 15th anniversary

October

Joan Kaylor debuts her newest show, "Tapping with Joan"

PTCT purchased 2 digital signage monitors, security cameras, and literature holders to create an Information Center in the lobby of the Municipal Building

PTCT added a background paper holder into its studio in order to create both green and white solid backgrounds.

A 12-terabyte network attached storage was purchased to be added to the station’s computer network to enable a larger number of programs to be housed until master copies are created onto disc for archiving
