January

Began the process of overseeing the creation of an animated recycling PSA to share with PTSD students and their parents to promote recycling as part of the kick-off of the Township’s new recycling carts

Interviews were recorded in the PTCT studio as part of the Rotary Club anniversary video

PSA highlighting recycling debuts (which ended up winning TVT award for Computer Generated Graphics category)

Informational video about the new recycling carts coming to Peters Township makes its debut (the online version is watched 1,180 times in March!)

New control room switcher is purchased

May

New control room switcher was installed and made its debut on the May 7 recording of Talking Politics in Western PA

New cameras, controller and recorder were ordered for Council Chambers and were installed after the June 22nd meeting

The Personal Touch in Peters Township - new series hosted by Toni Sulkowski highlighting local organizations 

July

Cameras in Council Chambers are replaced with new high-definition cameras, including the 13-year-old overhead camera that shows plans and other items to the projector in the room. Also, the agenda items appear as on-screen graphics to help viewers follow along. This equipment and the new graphics makes their debut at the July 9 Planning Commission meeting.

Installation of a new HVAC system in the studio/office/classroom at the High School began

August

The station added 2 additional network attached storage devices which increased the total number at PTCT to four (Projects, Media, Shows, and Archives), which allows for more file storage across all devices

All production computers at Peters Township Community Television (editors, engineering, audio, CG, training, VTR, scheduling, etc.) were upgraded to Windows 10, as part of the free upgrade Microsoft is offering for all machines running Windows 7 & newer

October

There were 83 programs recorded in October, which was an all-time monthly record!!

Multi-camera production of 2 Soccer games (10/13 Boys Soccer vs. Canon Mac and 10/14 Girls Soccer vs. Canon Mac) which contained openers, studio interviews, graphics and instant replay

November

s creates an Instagram account to show off photos of the Township and upcoming productions (57 followers in the first month)
