PTHS On-Air Talent Students recorded 11 episodes of a brand-new show called “The Edge” in the studio

March

“Quick & Delish by Susan”  was now being recorded in the studio with a student-drawn background

There were 7 more episodes of “The Edge” recorded including topics such as: social media, texting & driving, teenage marijuana use, drinking & driving, anxiety, school accomodations for disabilites, and teen depression.

PTCT cameras followed the PTHC Hockey club on their run through the playoffs and the Penguins Cup final.

Began reconfiguration of the Cable TV van to better accommodate more volunteers, including separate areas for a producer, instant replay, and graphics.

May

Purchased 2 Blackmagic Ursa Broadcast cameras and viewfinders

July

Groundbreaking begins on new Peters Township High School in Rolling Hills Park

PTHS Sports make their debut on YouTube (in addition, PTCT begins to put all of its studio programming onto its YouTube channel)

Lifelong resident and long-time host of “Senior Perspective”, Erma Grego passes away. Erma hosted “Senior Perspective” for nearly 25 years (the longest of any host!)

PTHS Media Broadcast students created “Holiday Showcase” programs which highlighted holiday video projects that they produced in their classes
