Workshops & Volunteering
Everything that we are, is produced by volunteers in our community, from the 10-second "Did You Knows?" to the sometimes 4-hour-long School Board meetings. No amount of experience is necessary either. The PTCT regulars will teach you how to use all of the equipment and work alongside you. We have a lot of fun!! Not to mention that seeing your name in the credits of your favorite PTCT show is a pretty good feeling.
If you see something below that interests you, please contact our Volunteer and Production Coordinator to get more info.
Here are just a few ways to volunteer:
Have people always told you that you'd make a good TV talk show host?
We're always looking for people to host our shows.
So, if you have a knack for talking to people, or just want to see what it's like, please give us a call.
Whether you are the go-to parent at a sporting event or are someone who does not know which way to point the thing, we can always use more camera operators.
Aside from learning how to use the camera or honing your composition skills, you'll also get the pride of showing your work on TV.
Have fun with it!!
Aside from shooting the program, we also need people who can make sure the "floor" is running properly.
Floor Directors help bridge the communication between the control room and the studio.
Set builders can make the shots look great, from the ground up, literally.
And so on...just ask us.
Divide and conquer is the name of the game. The control room is a great place to help out with a wide range of skill sets.
From here, we can see everything that our potential views will, and ultimately get to decide what the see and hear.
Producers, directors, technical directors, prompters, graphics, audio or video specialists, need inquire.
PTCT also covers a lot of community events throughout Peters Township.
A great way to get involved in the community is to show your face around town.
Take our shoots outside to a concert, sporting event, 5k, block party, you name it.
